I’m working through the really terrific book “Collective Intelligence” by Toby Segaran and developing the examples in Java, with the idea that I might create a nice open source Java (Processing?) recommendation / classification library someday.

It’s clear to me why Toby chooses to use python in the book. Much cleaner. I’m hoping to discover some nice ways of doing all this in Java that doesn’t give programmers a headache.
This book is awesome. Do I see an ITP course “Collective Intelligence” in our future?
